Dr Prianka Hansrani

Prianka graduated from Leeds University in 2004. She has spent the last 18 years gaining vast clinical experience, furthering her knowledge, and honing her skills to provide the best care for her patients.
Prianka gained extensive experience in head and neck surgery during her time in maxillofacial departments at Manchester and York hospitals. During this time, she completed her membership examinations to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and London. She continued in this field and completed her MSc degree in Oral Surgery.
She is an accredited dentist with special interest in oral surgery and has performed a vast number of surgical procedures, including removal of impacted teeth/roots and wisdom teeth. Prianka is competent in dealing with anxious and phobic patients. Her main aim is to ensure a comfortable, straightforward and pain free experience for the patient.
Prianka has also completed her postgraduate diploma in Orthodontics and Dental Orthopaedics. She has a wide experience in fixed orthodontics and aligner therapy, including Invisalign treatment.

Professor St John Crean

Professor St John Crean is a highly respected Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and leads the facial pain service at our practice. With extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex facial pain conditions, he provides expert care for patients experiencing trigeminal neuralgia, TMJ disorders, chronic orofacial pain, and other persistent facial pain concerns.
Alongside his clinical role, Professor Crean serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor for Clinical and Research at the University of Lancashire and is an Honorary Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon within the NHS. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty Dental Journal at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Professor Crean combines academic excellence with compassionate, patient-focused care. His broad experience across dentistry, medicine, and healthcare education allows him to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual patient. He is widely recognised for his clear clinical judgement, innovative approach, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for patients with complex or long-standing facial pain conditions.

Dr Alice Harding

Dr. Alice Harding qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1997 and is a registered Specialist in Special Care Dentistry. She completed her Membership examination for the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2000, and works as a senior examiner for both the Membership and the Diploma in Special Care examinations for the Royal College. Alice has recently completed her role as Vice Chair for the MFDS and has now been appointed into the Core Group.
Alice completed an MSc in Conscious Sedation in 2013 and has been Sedation Lead for North Yorkshire Community Dental Service since 2002. Also in 2013, she completed an MSc in Oral Surgery, and has been enjoying working as a DWSI in Oral Surgery for the Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery services since then. She completed her PhD by Published Works in 2022, and is an Honorary Lecturer for the University of Central Lancashire.
Alice does have more degrees than a thermometer! But she is one the most kind-hearted, caring and exceptional clinicians you can meet. She enjoys travelling and hiking to less travelled and exotic locations.

Matthew Bullock

Matthew graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 and went on to complete his oral surgery dental core training and membership into the Royal College Surgeons Edinburgh.
Throughout his career so far he has developed advanced skills in a wide range of minor oral surgery procedures and is also an experienced practitioner in conscious sedation (relaxation techniques using pharmacology).
As well as working clinically in oral surgery he also has a passion for teaching, working as a clinical tutor at Kings College London and being enrolled as an IACSD accredited sedation mentor.
Outside of dentistry he loves his sport, none more so than his beloved Liverpool FC.

Dr Jayendra Patel

Jay graduated from the Leeds Dental Institute in 2004, and was one of only five students to be awarded honours status in his dental degree.
He has a wealth of business experience both within and outside of dentistry, including:
- Council Member for the Government regulator – the GDC, where he worked closely alongside the GDC’s Executive Board for a 4 year period.
- Co-founder of an 11-surgery Specialist Referral Centre in Leeds (2007-2016) where he was instrumental in winning multiple national awards, both at The Dentistry Awards and Private Dentistry Awards separately.
- Awarded ‘Best Young Dentist (NE)’ at the Dentistry Awards in 2010.
- MFDS Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
- Has participated in various advisory committees for local PCTs and NHSE.
- Fully accredited DWSI in Oral Surgery for 14 years.
Through his interest in restorative dentistry, Jay has proudly been a vocational trainer (for the Yorkshire & Humber Postgraduate Deanery) for new dental graduates for many years.
He developed his love for Oral Surgery after his time at Maxillofacial departments in Yorkshire and Manchester, whilst achieving his MFDS and MJDF membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Jay has furthered this knowledge and experience by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery.

Dr Vikram Kavi

Dr. Vikram Kavi has been committed to delivering exceptional patient care since qualifying in 2003. His career has taken him through a variety of hospital settings across the UK, where he gained extensive experience in oral surgery and sedation, shaping his calm and confident clinical approach.
He has completed advanced implant training with the FGDP and has developed a strong reputation for managing complex full-mouth reconstruction cases. Vikram is also passionate about education and enjoys teaching colleagues in both oral and implant surgery, sharing the skills and knowledge he has built over more than two decades.
Outside of dentistry, Vikram leads an active outdoor lifestyle. He spends his free time hiking, cycling and skiing, pursuits that reflect his energetic and adventurous spirit.

Dr Puja Klaire

After graduating from Leeds Dental Institute, Puja has gained extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry.
Over the past eight years, Puja has continued to develop her passion for Endodontics through advanced postgraduate training and has successfully completed a Master’s in Endodontics at the University of Chester. Her additional training and experience enable her to accept referrals for more complex and challenging endodontic cases with confidence and precision.

Dr Babar Jamal

Babar graduated in 1987 from DeMontmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, Pakistan. After graduation he worked in the maxillofacial department at Lahore for 6 years and also obtained MCPS (Oral Surgery) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan.
He completed a further 2 years of his postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad, where he performed many major and minor facial surgical procedures, including trauma, along with TMJ (jaw joint) surgery.
Babar came to the UK in 1996 and worked for about 5 years in different hospitals in the department of oral and maxillofacial. He performed both minor and major surgical procedures under supervision and independently, such as facial fractures, orthognathic, head and neck surgery, removal of impacted wisdom and canine teeth, removal of soft tissue lesions, and laceration of facial injuries both under local and general anaesthesia.
He obtained his MFDRCSI from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and later also completed a one year certificate course in conscious sedition and pain management from London. Babar is Tier 2 IMOS accredited with special interest in oral surgery and conscious sedation. Babar has been performing Tier 2 IMOS and sedation services since 2006 and has developed an excellent reputation among his patients and professional colleagues.

Dr Archana Kavi

Dr. Archana Kavi graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University in India in 2003 and moved to the UK in 2005 to further her clinical training. She began her UK career as a Senior House Officer at Hull Royal Infirmary before relocating to Aberdeen in 2007, where she continued her SHO role within the Maxillofacial Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. These formative years provided her with extensive experience in oral surgery and the management of complex cases.
Following this, Archana took up a position as a salaried dentist with NHS Grampian and went on to complete her MSc in Oral Surgery at the University of Central Lancashire in 2014. Archana has developed a strong special interest in oral surgery and in the care of anxious patients. She accepts referrals for a wide range of oral surgery procedures, provides intravenous sedation for adults, and offers inhalation sedation for children.
Alongside her clinical work, Archana has contributed to dental education as a clinical lecturer in the Oral Surgery Department at the Aberdeen Institute of Dentistry. She is actively involved in teaching dental students, dental colleagues and nursing staff, sharing her expertise and commitment to high‑quality patient care.

Ivan is an experienced denture expert, creating beautifully aesthetic and functional dentures to transform people’s smiles every day. He accepts referrals from dentists and can offer an array of different materials, designs, and options. He provides exceptional service and will custom-make every stage of your denture behind the scenes to ensure no communication is lost and the brief is fulfilled, so the denture is made as perfectly as can be. Ivan has worked in various dental laboratories and practices, offering his expertise throughout the West Midlands and Manchester.
In his spare time, he enjoys long walks with his beloved Labrador and watching his favourite football team, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Lerisha is the practice manager at Cathedral Dental, with over 10 years of experience as a qualified dental nurse and specialist training in dental sedation. She is also soon to qualify as an adult medical nurse, allowing her to combine both dental and medical knowledge within her role to provide exceptional patient-focused care.
Lerisha is dedicated to delivering safe, compassionate and high-quality care to every patient who attends the practice. She believes that outstanding patient experiences are achieved through strong teamwork, effective communication and consistently maintaining the highest clinical standards throughout the practice.
