It is important to treat your dentures with care to help them last as long as possible. They should be removed before you go to bed so your gums can have a rest, but must be stored in water or denture fluid to prevent them losing their shape or drying out.

Clean your dentures daily with a soft toothbrush or special denture brush, removing any food particles or plaque. It is also important to attend regular check-ups with your dentist so they can keep an eye on your overall oral health.

It can take a little while to get used to wearing your new dentures, especially if they are a complete set. It is normal for them to feel strange or bulky in the first few weeks, and eating can be tricky, but this is temporary. Over time, you will become used to the feel of your dentures in your mouth and will be talking and eating confidently.
